Remember that one time Zeke Elliott jumped in the Salvation Army Kettle and I was there, but in line for food so missed it? Oh yeah, that was last night! I would be remise to not mention that as of 14 hours post game time moment the Salvation Army has reported a 61% increase in donations equating to over 180,000!! So, while Dallas won the game -- the nation won the opportunity to feel the warm and fuzzies as we celebrate.
Now to the original reason I brought you here, to tell all about my day with AT&T, let us begin...
Big THANKS to AT&T for hosting us! And double THANKS to all who followed along on SnapChat, Instagram, and Twitter -- it was a content-ful day!
If you've kept up this season our Boys are doing pretty, pretty good! And if you're anything like me, you've seen every game!!! You all may even remember when I went to the season opener, #memories. That said, it was a no-questions-asked YES when AT&T invited me to hang with them and a few other folks they fancied for a day of learning. What were we there to learn about? All the sweet ways that our very own stadium is keeping up with the times and making the mold for other teams to follow.
Here are some fun facts about the AT&T Stadium that I picked up along the way:
If the Statue of Liberty were standing upright on field level, the flame of her torch wouldn’t be close to touching the apex of the roof!
The display board is the size of 35-by45-foot movie screen!
Their #1 focus is making sure we get service to share all the pics we want so they built a whole room to make sure this happens! Pretty sure it's the actual matrix but can't confirm or deny that.
A double suite can hold 60 people comfortably.
The video board contains 30 million light bulbs.
And last but not least, they have charging stations, I repeat, charging stations! You pick your cord, code, and lock that baby up or stand guard and wait in sweet suspense of your beloved cellular device!
